On Sunday Mark wasn't feel too great so he stayed home from church & so I took the boys to give him some rest. Sunday afternoon brought short naps for the boys and stir crazy parents so we just got in the car with no real place to go. We headed towards the Va Beach Town Center which is just a few minutes away. We got out and let the boys wonder around the plaza with the water fountains. Anderson had a blast running around the fountains and Carter kinda 'moseyed' around. Might have to head there more often - did I mention there is a ColdStone there too (although we didn't partake....)

We've had those days where we just have to get out. It's nice you have very cool places nearby.

looks like some great spontaneous fun! have you been over to the new Landstown Commons shopping center. They have a nice plaza with a fountain too...we've played over there before:) I'm not sure about a Coldstone, but they do have this awesome frozen yogurt shop called The Skinny Dip. It is self-serve frozen yogurt, and the lady who owns the place is a WW member (maybe a leader??) and she posts the points values for everything and gives discounts to WW members. It is awesome!
I have these days OFTEN! It is so nice to get the boys out of the house for the day. The house stays so clean too! It is great. I will have to check out Town Center next time.
